THE FOUR PRIMARY EXPERIMENTS
Pick a question to test.
A small engine change to the existing Blue / Blue / Red shell. Keep the 40-card list as the comparison control.
41 main · 3 Legends · 7 side 02 / YELLOWYellow Blackout · 41The mono Yellow control has one Adam Smasher. This 41-card experiment adds a second copy and leaves the sideboard unchanged.
41 main · 3 Legends · 7 side 03 / RIVERAlt / Johnny / River · 41A rebuilt three-color prototype with Blue2 / Red2 / Yellow2. River is a plausible repeatable equipment partner for Alt and Johnny.
41 main · 3 Legends · 7 side 04 / GREENHanako / Padre / Saburo · 40An exploratory mono Green engine. Hanako, Padre and Saburo provide Green6; begin at 40 and add cards only when a recorded problem justifies them.
40 main · 3 Legends · 7 sideCONSTRUCTED / THE RULES THAT MATTER
40 is the floor.
50 is the ceiling.
Main-deck size counts non-Legends only. Constructed requires three differently named Legends and 40–50 main cards. Sum the Legends’ RAM by color: three colors are legal when every card meets its own color budget. These experiments use 40, 41 or 42 main cards.
Regular constructed has exactly seven sideboard cards, with a maximum of three copies of one identity across main and side. Preserve the registered main count after boarding. Quick LGS best-of-one omits the sideboard.

EDDIES / MAIN DECK COST
Printed costs; Legends are separate.
Tap a card for readable art and current rules text. Captions show color, RAM and printed cost, with Sell tags on main and sideboard cards. Legends supply payments separately. Quantities belong to the selected list; one official English printing represents each identity.
SIZE & ECONOMY / PRINTED MAIN-DECK VALUES
The extra slot has a price.
The 40-card BBR and Yellow lists are comparison controls. The eight downloadable prototypes are marked primary or optional above. Mean cost measures printed Eddies; it does not model discounts or actual draw decisions.

TAKE IT TO THE TABLE
Eight exact lists.
One honest test.
Keep a control list, alternate who goes first, and record the opening six, mulligan, sold-versus-played choices and whether the new slot solved the observed problem. These designs carry no win-rate or “best deck” claim.
