Kapten named the Corps and gave every member a huge teardrop signet: red at its heart, aquamarine at its edge. In this story, all eleven are wood elves.
One mark. Eleven keepers.
One mechanical costume-wing design passes among the women of the Corps. Miss Q carries it first. Its aquamarine and crimson palette, folding leaf panels and signet housing stay the same for every wearer; only the adjustable fit changes at handoff.
For the men, one matching sheathed kirpan-inspired costume design carries the same colours and signet. The illustrated scale is about 20 cm (8 in) overall, sheath included; it is a nonfunctional prop concept.
Illustrated design concept by Alfred / Codex. No physical wings have been built or tested for flight. The sheathed kirpan-inspired piece is a fictional costume concept, not an item of Sikh religious observance.

What each keeper brings
Named the Crimson Lanterns Corps, gave its wood elves the teardrop signet, and chose Miss Q for the first wing turn.
Keeps the wing case, fit register and signet inventory ready for each handoff.
Stitches removable padded liners for comfort and a clasp for the shared signet housing.
Sets strap-fit marks and a fold-before-release handoff for the shared frame.
Preserves every wing turn in an illustrated handoff book, one sketch and one signed line at a time.
Holds a quiet pause at each transfer until both keepers have the signet and harness in hand.
Adds a frame-check plate at the spine so buckles are seated before the wings open.
Logs the first wing turn and the Lantern-Lock sequence: clasp, signet alignment and spoken handoff.
Designs the bronze-and-leaf signet mount and the Corps’ aquamarine-with-crimson silhouette.
Tucks a frangipani checklist into the wing satchel and adds cream padding for the next wearer.
Checks each strap for comfort and records the tiny adjustments that make the shared wings feel personal.
Kapten set the name, signet and first wearer. The eight external role suggestions were collected in six AI service chats; these short summaries follow Kapten’s later one-design rule. Alfred and Miss Watson’s lines are local Codex writing; these are fictional creative roles, not independently staffed hotel positions.
